A1 English vocabulary
Start with familiar people, places, objects and actions. The A1-labelled cards include everyday words for your home, meals, family, classroom and journeys, with short definitions and concrete examples.
Choose a familiar topic first. Read a word and its examples, cover the word and try to recall it from the meaning. Use a few words to describe something in your own day before moving to a new set.
CEFR labels are provisional editorial estimates for individual word meanings, not a verified classification or a complete CEFR syllabus. A lesson can include words from several levels.
