Terms of Use
A few clear rules for learning with worloom, looking after your account and sharing words.

worloom is currently free to use. Keep your account secure, respect other people’s content and use the service lawfully. Our learning tools support practice and do not certify your English level.
1. Using worloom
These Terms of Use govern your use of worloom at worloom.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
worloom helps you practise English vocabulary through word sets, illustrations, examples and spaced repetition. You can browse public content and complete full lessons without an account. An account is needed to keep learning history across lessons and devices, save word sets and use a personal review schedule.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If the law where you live requires a parent’s or guardian’s permission, use the service with that permission and their involvement.

2. Your account
Use an email address or sign-in account you control and provide accurate account information. Keep passwords and verification codes private. Do not impersonate another person or access someone else’s account without permission.
You are responsible for how you use your account. If you suspect someone else has gained access, reset your password where available, end other sessions in Your account and contact us.
Google sign-in is optional and subject to Google’s own terms. The availability of third-party sign-in and browser pronunciation features depends on those providers.
3. Learning and availability
The current learning service is free to use. Creating an account does not start a paid subscription. If paid features are introduced, their price and any additional terms will be presented before you choose to purchase them.
Learning materials, illustrations, pronunciation and level suggestions are aids to practice. They may contain mistakes or simplified explanations. Vocabulary levels and the level check do not certify your overall English ability, and we do not guarantee a particular learning result.
We aim to keep worloom useful and available, but interruptions, maintenance and changes to content or features can occur. Use the data download in your account to keep a copy of learning progress you want to retain. Any changes remain subject to applicable law and your mandatory rights.
4. Fair use of the service
Please use worloom lawfully and in a way that lets other learners use it safely. In particular, do not:
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access private data, interfere with security or overload the service.
- Use automated activity to disrupt the service or evade its access and rate limits.
- Upload or share unlawful, infringing, abusive or misleading content, or another person’s private information without permission.
- Use worloom to distribute malware, spam or fraudulent material.
These rules do not restrict uses or rights that applicable law protects.
5. Content and shared sets
worloom and its licensors retain their rights in the website, branding, software, original illustrations and learning materials. You may use materials made available through the service for your personal learning. Any use beyond the rights granted here requires the relevant permission, except where a separate licence or applicable law allows it.
You keep any rights you have in content you contribute, such as your original set titles. You give us permission to store, display and process that content as needed to operate the features you use. You must have the rights needed to provide it.
If you create and distribute a sharing link, signed-in people with that link can view the set title and words and save their own copy. Your email address and progress are not included. Deleting the original set disables its link, but does not remove copies already saved by others.
Please contact us if you believe material on worloom infringes your rights, with a link to the material and enough detail for us to investigate.
6. Privacy and saved progress
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account details, learning activity, cookies and information stored on your device.
An unfinished guest lesson can be resumed in the same browser tab after reloading or returning. Its position, hints and checked answers are stored temporarily in that tab; unchecked drafts are not retained. Completing the lesson or signing in removes this temporary copy, and starting a new lesson replaces it. Guest lessons are not added to account history. Account progress syncs when a connection is available; a change that has not synced may exist only on the device where you made it.
Older guest progress saved by earlier versions is transferred when you create a new account. Current lessons taken without an account are not transferred. Check which account and device you are using, especially on a shared computer.
7. Ending use or restricting access
You may stop using worloom at any time. You can download learning data in your account and contact us to request account deletion. Signing out or disconnecting a sign-in provider does not delete the account.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to respond to a serious breach of these terms, protect users or the service, or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action.
You can contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Any handling or retention of personal information follows the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8. Responsibility and your rights
We take reasonable care in providing the service, but cannot promise that every feature will always be available or that every learning resource will be error-free. You are responsible for deciding how to use the learning material and for keeping your own sign-in details secure.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer or data protection rights. Any right to a remedy under applicable law remains available to you.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not require you to give up access to courts or protections that apply where you live.
9. Updates and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated with the notice, and any consent, required by applicable law. Changes do not remove rights you have already acquired.
For questions about these terms, account access or learning content, contact us below. Please do not include passwords or verification codes.
